Week one.

Week one.

Well, one week is successfully over and we’re all ready for the weekend. This week in EP6 we revised how to compare things, how to use superlatives, and we started work on our first project on oceans and seas. The students of EP6 are off to a flying start this year, and have even been putting paragraphs together about their chosen ocean/sea to research. Our first unit will be just over three weeks long, and will end around the first public holiday of the semester. In the coming week we’ll be making an informative wall display about oceans and seas. No spelling test today, but the students have four spelling lists of 20 words each to do during the first month of school.

I hope everyone has a great weekend and gets some well deserved rest.

Best,

Dr. Mike.

Welcome back to School!

Welcome back to School!

Dear Parents & Friends,

It is with the greatest pleasure that I welcome our students in EP6 Red & Blue back to Varee Chiang Mai School for what will be an exciting year. To our new students, I hope you have a rewarding and enjoyable year. Throughout the year, I will communicate largely with you though this blog, which will be updated every Friday afternoon with the week’s activities.

The first unit we are covering in English class explores the Earth’s Oceans & Seas, and the students are off to a great start. We will all be choosing one ocean, doing some research on its defining features and making a wall presentation.

I look forward to talking with you all over the coming academic year.

Sincerely,

Dr. Michael Pearce (EP6 Home Room teacher)
